Jova VI by CorranFett Jova VI by CorranFett
I felt compelled to do another one, this time with clouds and a little bit of extras.

Still gotta work on my texture-arrangement, though, because I placed all the oceans of the planet on the edges of the texture, which is why they can't really be seen, lol. Plus the clouds are hiding some details.

EDIT: Darkened the night side a little.

Credit goes to:

:icondh-textures: and :icongreeneyezz-stock: for textures, and :iconmoonchilde-stock: for the nebulae in the background.

Hope that helps. ;)

Thanks a lot, means a lot coming from an experienced space artist as yourself. :D

I didn't create the nebulae myself, though, used stocks for that. Next time I'm gonna give them a try as well. ;)

You should do a model of the Star Wars galaxy, now that would look spectacular.

(This one looks amazing, BTW). XD

Thanks. :D

Doing a whole galaxy "might" be a bit of work. Besides, we already have plenty of SW planet images. ;)

Yeah that would be a lot of work wouldn't it, lol. Well it was a nice thought. Can you do planets like Coruscant?

Why do Coruscant, when we already have it? ;)

Sure, it can be done, but with all the city lights, it'd be a looot of time-consuming work as well. I might do a planet with a larger city some time, tho.

Yeah, been a little bit AWOL, and guess I still am. Busy with school and Warhammer Online, I'm afraid. *whistling*

Well anyway, thanks for stopping by, cool to hear from you again as well. :D Glad you like it--and it really isn't that hard; the technical process is rather easy, it's just getting it right in terms of looks and realism that's a little challenging. :P

Is halt n großer Planet mit nem kleeeinen Mond.^^
